Capt. Kartik Uday Vaidya, Director

  • Capt. Kartik holds a Master in Business Administration from Middlesex University.

  • As master mariner, Capt. Kartik has over 26 years experience in the industry, both ashore and at sea. He came ashore in 2010 working on ship management, chartering, operations and project evaluation in various shipping sectors.

  • His strong leadership and sound technical knowledge has greatly enhance overall supply chain performance and to chart the growth of the company in line with the Group’s objectives.

  • Prior to joining Nova, Capt. Kartik had held senior positions in Holcim Trading and Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc.
Simon Pan, Senior Commercial Manager (Dry)

  • Simon Pan holds a Master of Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University and Bachelor of Engineering (Maritime Study) from National Taiwan Ocean University.

  • He has over 21 years experiences in maritime industry. Besides his strong commercial background, Simon is also actively involved in improving existing infrastructure and supply chain management to support corporate distribution strategies and business needs.

  • Prior to joining Nova, he was with Duferco Asia handling Shipping commercial activities for Asian-Pacific trade.
Capt. Alan Wong, Senior Manager (Tanker Operations and Post fixture)

  • Capt. Alan holds a Master of Science (Maritime Studies) from Nanyang Technological University and Diploma in Nautical Studies (DNS) from Singapore Polytechnic.

  • As master mariner, Capt. Alan has over 29 years experience in the industry, both ashore and at sea. He also has vast experience in handling commercial operations and chartering for chemicals / clean products / crude sectors.

  • Prior to joining Nova, he was with Ocean Tankers and other established MNC shipping companies.
Bryan Lim, Commercial Manager (Tanker chartering)

  • Bryan Lim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of London.

  • He brings over a decade of experience in the maritime industry, encompassing tanker operations, chartering, and strategic planning. His expertise primarily lies in edible oils, oleochemicals, and biodiesel, with additional exposure to CPP and chemical cargoes.
